Bob Button started as a one-man, one-truck operation to feed and support his family. Today, Button Transportation employs hundreds of people, supporting hundreds of families. We are still a family operation, promoting excellence in the work place for our people, our team, our family. The Power to Serve starts in Button’s Shop.
When Bob Button built his new truck yard in 2015, the maintenance shop was the premium priority. Over the years, the shop mechanics had to work in some primitive environments: freezing cold winters and blistering hot summers, always with a cruel wind blowing through the shop. Bob swore, one day, his guys would have a state-of-the-art shop to work in.
The Button truck shop is an epic facility with ten bays that can comfortably accommodate fully loaded trucks with trailers. The shop is temperature controlled with radiant heat floors and exterior heaters to keep the guys warm in the winter and Big-Ass Fans to circulate cool air in the summer. Best of all, the roll-up doors, twenty in all, keep the warm air in during the winter months and the hot air out in summer. Button’s shop is the finest truck maintenance facility in Northern California, bar none. And, our guys love it.
The Button team is highly capable, with hundreds of years of combined truck maintenance experience. From our preventative maintenance programs to the heavy overhauls we perform, the Button team keeps our equipment safe and reliable, so our driving team can keep our customers’ product moving.
